PRO-pHx is an acid bath life extender that addresses this specific failure mode, allowing facilities to continue using acid that would otherwise be discarded.
At a 1% concentration, PRO-pHx acts as a metal-management catalyst within the acid solution. It interacts with dissolved metal ions (iron, zinc, chromium, and others) reducing their negative impact on bath stability and performance. The result is an acid bath that stays usable significantly longer without any change to your existing process or chemistry.
Unlike filtration systems or metal recovery equipment, PRO-pHx requires minimal capital investment and no production downtime to implement. It works within your existing acid bath maintenance routine and is compatible with most common mineral acids including hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric, and phosphoric, as well as their common blends.
